Garbage/ Recycling

The City of Hoschton contracts with White Oak Sanitation to provide garbage and recycling collection services to residents.  Garbage collection is a required service for all residents, while recycling service is optional.  For general service or billing questions, please contact City Hall at 706-654-3034.

Garbage service: $15.50/month per 95 gallon cart

Recycling service: $3.00/month per 95 gallon cart

• Garbage and recycling carts are emptied on Mondays, except for Cresswind residents which are emptied on Tuesdays; carts must be at the curb by 6:00AM on Monday.
• All items must fit inside the cart.  If you have more than fits in the cart, please contact White Oak directly by the Friday before pick-up to arrange for the excess to be removed the following Monday.
• Bulk item removal: White Oak will remove one large item (furniture, appliance, mattress) per month at no additional cost.  [Refrigerators, freezers, and construction debris are excluded.]  Please contact White Oak directly by the Friday before pick-up to make arrangements.
• Yard debris removal: White Oak will pick up yard waste in brown paper yard waste bags at an additional cost.  Please contact White Oak directly to schedule this service.
